Light Bar In Rear Window

I have a 2006 F150 Supercab. I am a volunteer firefighter in IL, and want to install this 8 head light bar in my rear window. I would like to put it in the top of the window, but I do not have any experience with removing the headliner or drilling towards the roof.

Any suggestions on mounting this are appreciated.

I would depend on how permanent you want it installed. Is there a reason not to mount it outside the cab?

You may want to consider looking at some of the installs over on E Lightbar.com, there may be a better response to your question there.

It would be a permanent mount. I want to keep it inside to keep it out of the IL weather and for simplicity in wiring.

I went to that forum and found some good ideas. Thanks for the help.

I am going to try to make a braket out of aluminum that will go across the back of the cab at the top. From pillar to pillar and screw it in the sides of the pillars.
