2002 F150 XLT-High Beams not working

Hi,
When I engage my high beams on my 2002 F150 XLT they do not turn on in either the extended postion or the quick flip position.

Has anyone had this problem? Is this a blown fuse?

Suggestions for fixing are appreciated.

Thanks
Matt

You'd get more help in the lighting section.

But to help check your fuses not hard to do, it's the one under the driverside dash. Check your manual for exact fuse number.

Are you factory 9007 halogens or HIDs?
Are both high beams out?

Thanks for the heads upon the lighting section. I am just starting to use this forum.

I am factory 9007 and both head beams are not working.

Once I check the fuses I will follow up to let you know if that is the issue.

I found the fuse and the prior owner had stuck a 5amp fuse in the place for the high beams and it should have been a 20amp.

Once I put the 20amp in they worked perfectly.
