There is an aiming guide on the HIDPlanet forum. You should join up there.

Sticky here: http://www.hidplanet.com/forums/show...HID-headlights. Plan on lowering a bit more due to lift as most guides assume yer in a car, lol.

You sure it isn't because you are running HID in a projector / reflector designed for halogen, and you are emitting excess glare due to an imprecise beam pattern?

No amount of lowering will fix that without even further reducing effective visibility from your point of view. Which will not be great to begin with if the above is true.

Don't know, because we don't know what exactly you are running.

That's what I thought.

Those will be a challenge to aim as they are a very poor HID optical system - those are to be used with halogens only.

So - - my caveats apply here. Any aiming will be a suboptimal compromise.

I believe you were given this advice Not to use PnP and to invest in a proper retrofit when you first asked a while back.

You get what you pay for.

Sorry Matt - live and learn. I'd sell them and give that piggy bank a workout and do it right.

Good luck

thanks, a retrofit would be ideal but at this point in time i wanted hids but knew that them in regular heads was not going to happen. i went with aftermarket projectors figuring it was on the right track. a retrofit is on the list down the road. maybe once truck payments and insurance arent eating up 90% of my monthly income

If you wanna save money and use those heads you can use the retrofit source quick retro kit. It replaces the spyder halogen projector with a mini H1 HID projector. Let me see if i can find you a link.

Here ya go. I also suggest 4300k xb35 bulbs. It's going to be the best you can get in a rebased bulb.
