My previous truck was a '01 King Ranch SCREW and it had lights on the running boards. I recently upgraded to a '08 Lariat SCREW this fall. It has the factory Chrome Step bars. I was looking at them the other day and it looks like it'd be fairly easy to mount a light on each of the brackets for the step bars...right between the bottom of the cab and the step bar itself. I was thinking either an amber marker light that'd be on with the lights...or a clear light that'd come on when the doors open. Has anyone else tried doing this? Might be on my some day project list..

This the closest I could find to what you're talking about dude, but I am ordering this kit for my truck soon i've seen it on my friends truck it looks good lit up at night.
