Wiring for fogs?
I was lucky enough to catch the end of the TRS July 4th sale and picked up the Morimoto H1 Stage III kits. I will be using them as fogs for my 06 F150. Unfortunately I do not have stock wiring for fogs. So I was thinking of a few ways to do it.
1. Wire into my DRL lights so when I turn the headlight switch to the first position the fogs will come on at the same time. Only problem with that is when my alarm arms/disarms they will blink 4-5 times and I'm worried doing this will damage the ballasts or bulbs.
2.I could wire in the fogs to start with the headlights by wiring the starter wire from both harnesses together. I usually have my headlights on all the time so this would be fine.
3. Or I could wire in a switch into the dash, but I've never done that and not sure about the wiring..
What do you guys think or any better options out there
