Interior and Exterior Led Install 2011

This is a how to change your interior and exterior lights. I will focus on the map lights because they are the only ones that could cause you some problems.

First I took off the clear cover that goes over both lights. Be careful when taking this off, the side closes to the windshield will come off first.

Next you can push the whole assembly towards the windshield and the two clips on either side will come out. This picture is just to show the clips the clear cover should be off this was taken when I was putting it back in.

Then disconnect the lights and the rear window switch to make it easier to work with.

After you have it out you need to take the metal reflector in order to take the lights out. There are two small white posts in the corners that hold the reflector, I used a small flathead to lift it up. Just be easy because it is easy to bend.

After the reflector is off the lights just simply pop out and the new ones will plug in. At this point it is a good idea to plug the lights back in to see if they work because they only work one way. If they don't work just flip them around and they should work. There are two white cylinder looking things right below the lights that you push to turn the lights on and off.

To reinstall put the reflector back on and put the assembly back in. Once you have it back in half way then you can put the clear lenses back on. Then the side closest to the windshield will go in first. Just go slow and work with it until it is back in. This is the worst part it can get frustrating.
