The fogs on my '03 FX4 seem useless-- I can barely tell any difference when I flip them on. I live in central TX, and have pretty much zero fog to deal with. Can anyone recommend replacement bulbs or lights that will go into the OEM valence that will really brighten things up down the road and off to the sides? The main hazard at night is whitetails-- they are like ****roaches down here.

I know what ya mean. We have them every where up here in da u.p. But you're not gunna wanna look for brighter fog lights. They are just there for fog. Hence the name fog light.. If you want more light you're gunna want a retrofit..

 

Also.. Just remembered this.. You can put a 9005 bulb in your fog lights. They are 65 watt compared to 45 watt.. But this won't gain you distance or light to the side. It'll just make it alot brighter in front of you. Actually hindering distance seeing..
