Blue LED Project

I have started putting Blue LEDs in the truck. I have already replaced the Dome/Map Lights. And added Accent Lighting tot he Front Foot Wells.

Dome Light = 4410-x9: 9 LED Festoon bulb from SuperBrightLEDs.com
Map Light = WLED-xHP5: LED T10 Wedge Base Bulb from SuperBrightLEDs.com
They were both direct replacement for the stock bulbs.

Accent Lighting = LT-x24SMD: 12 inch 24-LED Light Tube from SuperBrightLEDs.com

The Foot Well Accent Lighting is controlled by the switch on the dash (looks like a blue dot in the pic). The cig lighter was previously there. I pulled the cig lighter and it is sitting behind the dash. My phone charger is plugged into it, going to the car dock on the lower left of the windshield. For power, I used the constant and ground from the Sirius Sat adapter (I don't ever plan on using it).

I want to eventually replace all (well most) of the Green Accent Lighting with Blue. Just need to figure out how the AC/CC/Windows/HeadLight Controls are done. Ill probably buy replacement pieces to play with, so I do not break anything/functionally of the truck. The Gauge Cluster... I donno what I am going to do there... Any Suggestions?? I do not want to pull the needles!

I have another order in that I am waiting to arrive. Maybe next weekend Ill have more pics of hopefully more custom lights...

Looks good. I am also looking at doing the dash and other controls, I can't stand the green. When I pulled the **** off the HVAC controls it looked like there were 2 green less back there. Hopefully these can just be pulled and swapped. My truck is an 08 super cab.

I have a replacement AC controls that I am looking to modify from green to blue. They are simple to pull apart (pull speed select **** off, be sure to grab the spacer behind it. the back pops off. the board is held in place with a couple torx screws), but I haven't had any time to play with changing the SMD LEDs. I plan on doing this when I get back from from this work trip early next month.

Looks good
Thanx! There will be more to come...
