Another one bright, one dim headlight problem....

Ok so I get in my truck tonight and go to leave and so I turn on my headlights.... The dash lights come on & everything is normal except my hazard/turn indicators are constantly lit. Use a turn signal and it has a long pause then flashes quickly, another long pause, etc. As well, the passenger headlight is dim yet the driver headlight seems functioning as normal. Brake lights all work fine but oddly enough the fog lights are now non functional as well????

Please someone help shed some light on this :-)

Tried replacing headlight bulb, that didn't solve the problem and all fuses are good.

Might want to start by checking the ground on the passenger side from the headlamp & turn signal to the inner fender.

Check that the lug on the fender wall is clean and tight as well as that there is no / very low resistance to the assemblies with a meter.

SWAG is that the ground lug is loose and the grounds are trying to use the turn signal path as a ground ( this would account for the ghost illumination on the cluster ).

The next step would be to pull the turn signal bulb and see if the headlamp works correctly or stops all together.
This could be an issue with the turn signal bulb or the bulb connector, but I put this low on the list with the ghost illumination.

Thanks man, sure enough it wa the ground on passenger side! Looked & felt tight but I wiggled it a bit and the corners popped on :-) so I cleaned it up, tightened it down real tight and works like perfect again!
