Talking They're In :-)

I know there are a LOT of threads about HALO projectors, but I was just so happy by the time I finished installing mine tonight I had to add another! I bought these off of ebay and they're from a company called Spec-D Tuning. I was pretty happy because their website tells you EXACTLY how to install the headlights. They come with some little quick connectors and you're pretty close to being ready to go. I basically just had to remove my stock headlights, splice in to the parking lights for the LEDs, and just plug in the harness to the regular headlights and I was good to go! The only thing that took me a while was aligning the headlights assembly back up with the holes on the front of my truck. once I had those squared away, I was good to go. I think it adds an awesome look to the front end.

It's good, the will/knowledge to upgrade one's vehicle. Sometimes, though, the pomp and flash overcomes the practicality and 'flow' of said vehicle.

Case in point...

Sorry for being so excited over something so small guys...I'm not really a grease monkey, so I simply take pride in things I'm able to do with my own two hands, no matter how big or small. I was just under the impression that this was a website for guys who like f-150's, and could come share their mods as well as view others.

the reason that some guys dont like the halos is because they have such poor light output.

but if you like them, thats all that matters!

Kosher, wasn't meaning to be a downer. Just see a lot of ricers around here, so anything that reminds me of them causes me to react negatively.

Great job on the project, and as six said ^, as long as you like them, more power to ya!

It's all good man. Trust me...I have NO intentions of going for the ricer thing. When you have a truck, I think bigger is better.
