Rear fog lights and switches

Well I finally got it done. the lights are hidden from behind at eye level so even if it is illegal I dont have to worry about it. I drilled the holes a little too narrow in the panel so it doesnt close all the way and they tend to lean if I hit them but ill just live with it for now. anyone know where I could get a replacement part? just the piece with the cig lighter that pops out.
I grounded the lights on the back of the frame where I mounted them.
Once it gets dark ill adjust the lights more and take some pics.

oh and the lights had a piece of dull metal inside that blocked half of the light( im guessing to make them have more of a beam than a spread) and I took them out so hopefully they will work a little better.

I had to extend both my source and my power wires.

for all of my wire connections outside of the truck I used heat-shrink wrap and then covered it with electrical tape

edit: now its not even making the noise.

Looks good. Does each switch operate only one light? Or is there one switch for both lights and the other switch is for something else?

one switch for both lights. I put in 2 because I plan on getting a bull bar with 2 more lights in the front.

as it gets darker I keep testing the lights...I think I like them better without the lenses lol. I really hope they are bright enough...If not ill just keep my existing wireing and just get new lights. would that be a bad idea? like if I hooked up more powerful lights to the exisig wiring would it blow the fuse the projectors came with? or would it burn up the wires? stuff like that. I can already tell these arent going to be bright enough :/

The lense should help focus the light. If you decide to get new lights then the existing wiring will work fine.

NIGHT PHOTOS
left side is with the lense, right side is without lense.

Unfortunately I like it a lot better without the lense. Its perfect for lighting up the dark spots in my mirrors when im backing up. I wish I could just seal off the lights without the lenses. I guess im gunna run up to the store and get different lights that ARENT projectors. I figures with such a big lense they would be brighter...im dumb lol.

In the defense of the projectors I did not mount them on a flat surface so their full potential was not used. but I still want a more round spread like the light without the lense.
IM gunna run up to walmart and but a different type. lol I hate waiting

Let me know what you get. I want to do the hidden mount like you did. I just want to make sure the lights are bright enough
