All Red LED Third Brake Light

Well, ordered the product from x3 racing. All red LED third brake light. Only payed 30 bucks for it but I'm not expecting much out of it. I just wanted it for the all red housing honestly.

We will see how long it lasts, when it bites the dust I will throw my stock one back on and beef this one up.

Here are a couple day time shots. Makes my truck look dull red because of all the filth.

I will try to get some night shots of the actual brake function on it also.

I just put one of those on myself. Looks good. I think I may buy another just to have, they're so cheap.

I have two. To tell you how cheap they are, the first one had a problem, so they sent another and just told me to keep the first. Don't matter, the first one may get torn apart and be my test light.

Can you take a pic of how well the truck box gets illuminated at night time?

I can, but I can already tell without looking not much. The LED's that are put in these lights are not gonna shine out like the bulb lights in the stock light. More for looks than anything. I'm going to put bed lighting in soon, so I'm not to worried about it.

It didn't matter to me either since I have a lid.

Yeah, that's why I wanted these. My stock one just didn't flow well for me. I wanted something different, and this is pretty much the only all red led third I could find. Just happened to be a good deal on it too. Like I said I'm pretty sure it's cheeply constructed, but it won't take much to put some high output leds and a new circuit board on it.
