Question is it working?

hi im not getting any cold air from my ac in fact i cant tell iff its coming on or not when i turn it on the rpms stay the same and i dont hear anything butt my truck is load anyway so im not shore if i could hear it anyway any help would be great .is there a way to tell if its coming on or not other then the rpms? thanks

I just had this same problem. I would turn on the air and all I got was the same temp as the outside air. Took it to the dealer, still under warranty, and they said that it was overfilled at the factory. I pick it up tonight.

I will post what they did along with any other info that may be useful.

open the hood and see if the compressor is engaging. If not chances are it is out or low on refrigerant. It could be a fuse too.

What about when I start my truck and then turn on a/c it feels cool not cold, until I drive it a little then it feels like compressor kicks in for a while then shuts off again. I have the temp control set all the way on cold and I expected the compressor to stay on all the time! What is the deal here?
