'05 F-150 Heater not working
Now that the days are getting cooler here in NoVA I noticed that my heater isn't working properly no matter how high I turn the temperature up...still blowing cool air. Any thoughts on what it could be?
1) Checked Engine Running Temp: Running in normal range
2) Cycled air through floor, split, and defrost vents: Air cycled
3) Ambient Temperature Gauge is off: saying 130 F when outside temperature is 48 F (could this be the problem?)
4) Checked coolant level: Full
When it was summer the AC worked fine but now that it is getting cooler the heater isn't working.
Thanks.

If you checked the running temp with the dash gauge, don't believe it. Use an infrared thermometer on the thermostat housing. You may need a new thermostat.
It's possible the heater core is clogged - feel the inlet and outlet hoses, they should both be hot. If the inlet is hot and the outlet isn't, it's blocked somewhere.
Possibly a blend door issue?
