AC fan switch not working 2004 XL
Hey guys..
I have a 2004 XL and the switch for numbers 1 and 2 do not turn on...I can only have the AC on 3 and 4...what needs to be changed?

It's either the mode switch, the resistor pack, or the wiring harness/connectors for each.
What needs to be changed is your approach to fixing the problem. You need to get in there and at least perform a visual inspection looking for obvious concerns. If none are found, then you need to test the system to see where the blower power is getting lost so as to identify the actual failed component.
..or you can just guess and replace stuff and hope you get lucky, eventually.
