2003 f150 heater fan motor

Looking for some help, I have EATC in my truck if I turn my key on to the first stage every thing works, fan comes on goes to high and low, goes to floor, vents, defost when I push it to go there. Now when I start my truck and push the manual button and put temp up or down the fan does not work, sometimes I feel if I hit a bump the fan starts to work and will stay working till I turn truck off. sometimes if I turn heat down and then up and wait the fan might work, I did do a self test and no codes come up. Thanks for any help. HUCK

A guess - the resistor pack may be going out. This is exactly what's happening if the fan always works at the highest setting.

EATC-equipped vehicles do not have resistor packs. They use an electronic module that works in conjunction with the EATC to control blower speed.

Might be the relay, the motor, the controller, or something in the wiring. Insufficient information at this time.

It's in the same relay block/box as the flasher relay. Up under the dash near the center. Follow the sound of the flasher relay.
