Anybody got a "How-To" on clearing the A/C drain?

I have an '03 FX4 that just developed a problem with water puddling in the electrical channel on the passenger side under the door scuff panel. A member said he figured my A/C drain was plugged (rather than a cab leak). I dried everything out and took a drive with A/C on and sure enough there was water in the channel again when I got back.

I did a search and read a number of posts on the problem, but there weren't any diagrams or photos. I am real hazy on the anatomy back there-- where I find the drain hose, where it runs from and to, how to disconnect and clear it, etc. Anybody got a detailed how-to or some diagrams or anything?

I looked at a lengthy heater core replacement thread hoping it would show me the construction, but no luck.

Thanks,

k9dr

Try looking along the inside of the fenders near the pillar post, it looks like a larger round tube a couple inches long and tapers to a flat slit on the bottom... squeeze the slit and the debris should fall out. Run some water in the cowl vent to flush it clean.
Can't be specific on the location but that's what I did to clean my 78' F-350, look on both sides I'm sure you'll find it & "Good luck"
