Blower motor on 3 of 4 settings
All... I have read lots of posts about the blower motor and when speeds don't work, the first culprit is the blower motor resistor is bad. So... I went to Autozone and replaced it - but this didn't change the issue.

So - my issue is that the fan runs on low, low-med, and high (not med-high), if that's what you'd call them... otherwise, positions 1, 2, and 4.
I pulled the switch itself and found that the housing connecting to the switch (that holds the wires going to the motor) is burnt on one corner. I'm assuming this will be the culprit... but would you think it's the switch or the wiring? How do I test it?

(Sorry I didn't take a picture, but I will)

Probably the switch, but you'll need to get out the multimeter and check to be sure. Look for signs of excessive heating on the terminals of both the switch and the resistor connectors.
