a/c blower speed, unknown plug in engine bay near clutch
ive got a '93 flareside, 302 auto, which is the same as my '69 stang, except, bored over 60...but thats beside the point...
So i got this truck from stepfather, he bought it thinking he would use it...well he didnt, so i got it.
it was bucking, like a wild bronco, turns out the previous owner, tried to change the fuel filter himself, he messed it up...
so we finally got it off and changed it, well my friend did, lol, i just watched
it ran smoothly..
...then around 1500 RPM, it would buck...a tiny bit, either the ignition coil or something, i bought new battery terminals, now no more tiny bucking.
i dont feel the horsepower, but im used to the mustangs 302, 2bbl- so that might be why, the truck will haul butt, jsut not what im use to. I will change the ignition coil out, with a MSD one, cause the plugs/wires are MSD
...The Question:
The a/c blows, cool, im sure it needs more freon...
but ive had F150,F250s and even that F350
what i liked about fords, is the A/C was a ice cold, and blew ice cold a/c at hurrican speeds!...
But, this one, blows decent, on MAX setting...im thinking maybe a new blower? but want to get a second opinion
ALSO, this is bugging me...confusing me..
theres a plug that has no where to be plugged into..
it comes from the engine bays, fuse box, its like a Inch in Diameter, thick, a bunch wires wrapped then splits in the Middle where the plug dangles, the rest runs near the top of the engine, headers..etc
But, half way, from the fuse box, theres this plug, that just dangles...ive stretched it in every way to see what the nearest port it would plug into...but cant find one...
im thinking, maybe the wiring was redone on some things, and this went to a custom version or something special, so they just left it there...
