orifice tube removal tool required?

2001 supercrew 4wd 5.4L

replacing noisy compressor, would like to do the right thing and replace the accumulator and orifice tube, but i notice that they sell a removal tool for the orifice tube.

Is it that involved to remove it from the liquid line?

also the correct color for the orifice tube is RED, right?

Which PAG oil?

Thanks for your help

The removal tool is needed when the old one breaks. A pair of needle-nose pliers usually works just fine.

Red.

ISO 46.
