I have bought a used 2006 f150 crew 4x4 and have owned it for about 6 months now, 2 days after I bought it from the dealer the blend door motor went out and they luckily repaired at no cost to me. but now the damn AC and heat only goes out of the defrost vents. Now I have researched and only can find that the early models have vacuum lines to work the motor. But do the newer models have electrical motors or vacuum also. Any help is much appreciated as I don't want to spend my life savings to let the dealer fix this.&

 

Newer models are 100% electric as far as I know. I couldn't find any vacuum lines in mine.
