I was messin around with the crappy Kenwood cd player that guy let stay in truck when I bought it & decided to take out the HVAC unit to check it out. Turns out the cold/warm **** was fine......BUT the shaft it attaches to was stripped of it's "keyway" and was rounded. Used some plyers to turn the shaft and !walla! cooler air. A/C must still need recharged cuz it's not cold but that was definitely my problem, not the blend door.

Lesson to be learned here: start SIMPLE :-D

 

Just bought a replacement off fleabay
