No cold air...

OK, everything cycles, the refrigerant is (I assume) full, I got a cold, sweating line at the expansion valve going into the cab, yet inside its blowing nothing but warm air. Could it be a blend door not working correctly or what am I doing wrong, I really hate A/C work...

This is for a 2001 F150 4x4 4.6 5 speed truck...

Nope...All of my controls work...I can switch from "cool" room temp air to "heated" heater core air...I think their is something in there keeping air from flowing over the A/C core...

I'm assuming you have the engine at normal operating temperature. Does the output air feel the same for either in A/C or Heat? Does rotating the temperature **** from red to blue or vice-versa change the output temperature? I may can help if know a little more, e.g, what I have asked.

Yes...I can switch from "cool" room temp air to "heated" heater core air but no actual cold A/C air...I know it needs a new clutch on the compressor but it works good enough to compress the refrigerant and the line starts to sweat...

hows the freon charge and it could possibly be a bad expansion valve.
