AC/Heat Blower wont turn on.

I have a 2006 Ford F150 Lariat and the AC/Heat blower wont turn on. The controls work and the portion connected the AC belt appears to be functioning. If I turn it on and then shut my hood or go over a large bump it will turn on. I just dont want to go into the repair shop and them to tell me I need a whole new AC system. Help before summer is here.

The blower operates independently from the compressor.

Please verify and clarify what your concern is.

If you go over a large bump it will turn on, what turns on? your compressor or inside blower fan? Does it stay on?

The blower does not turn on when I turn the controls on. Once I hit a bump the air will start blowing. From there everything works normal. I can control the temp and speed.
