Exclamation AC not working

My AC has stopped working, again. Last year about this time when I turned it on, no cooling. They replaced a valve saying it had leaked the coolant out. Now, same time as last year same thing. I am going to take it in tomorrow and see what they say. I am now out of the factory warr...but think they should fix it again under the factory warr since they obviously didn't do it right the first time. Any ideas?

If it has leaked the freon out again then it sounds like the rubber o-rings need replacing. this is one of the things I had my dealership replace before my warranty went out last July. They should know what you're talking about when you say "o-rings". If they don't, turn around and run away from them. Fords are notorious for their "o-rings" going bad.

Well.....

40,000 miles and the compressor leaks out of the o-rings and then tears itself up! They replaced the entire AC system and all is working now. The bill was over $1000, but thanks to my Ford ESP, I payed $50. Is this common?

It's not common, but it happens. Look at it this way, you got a whole new A/C system for 50 bucks. What a bargain! lol.
