Question A/C, Fresh Air

My AC cools great, but when I turn selector switch to any position with temp turned to cold, I get air conditioned air. (COLD). Can anyone tell me what to check so I can get fresh air? The A/C clutch turns off when I turn the selector to "off". 1998 4.2 5 speed.

If you can't get heat, do a search on "blend door".

See your owner's manual for a description of when the compressor should be enabled.

I don't have a problem with temp control. The blend door has been replace. It's just that the a/c is on when it shouldn't be.
