heater core

heater core

i think my heater core is failing on me. i get a anti freeze smell in the cab and there is a smoke or mist coming out of the vents and there is anti freeze leaking out of the fire wall..is my heater core ********D. i have read that it is a pain in the *** to replace..anyone else have problems like this..

Yup! Heater core. Mine's crapped out twice.

Expensive to replace and a PITA to do it yourself

Gotta love that $900 labor to change a 30 some dollar part....

there wont be no labor except my own lol...i have hear that the factory ones are better than the after market ones..any truth to this

You can buy a heavy duty one (might be brass vs aluminum).
