A/C not working after engine swap ('04 5.4 3V)
Short and sweet.
A/C worked fine, swapped the engine 2 years ago....hasn't worked since. I put off recharging the system until it crept into the 90's this week. I got a kit from Checker/O'Riely and before charging what I thought would be a dead system, it still has 40 psi on the low pressure side, while running w/ AC maxed. I put a little more to max it out at the universal directions max recommended level of 45 psi and then the A/C pump engages and cycles on and off.
A/C is still hot.
What should I do next?
