Talking about a major undertaking! I've already sunk 4.5hrs into this, with a friend, and just am figuring out that I either broke the blend door taking it out or it was broken prior to us taking it apart. Anyways, we had the heater core on hand, by the time we got down to it it was dark, and we were using flashlights. Figured out blend door was broken, have to order the part. It's starting to drizzle, even better. Put all the dash pieces in the cab/toolbox, called it a night. Blend door won't be in until Wednesday, unless the local ford dealership has one. (checking in the AM) We should have waited for a long weekend to work on this thing. lol Smelling anti-freeze and having the vapors looking similar to smoke/fog come out of the vents (had the ac/heat off) got old after putting it off for over a week. The coolant leak from this core was getting pretty bad too, so it had to be done. Anyways, this has been an experience, that's for sure.
