The cluch on my AC stopped working, but I can hit it and it will engage. I know that I have to remove on of the shims to close the gap. I can get the faceplate off removing the 8 mm bolt, but once it is off, how do I get the shims out that are left in there. The spline makes this difficult if not impossible. I tried a dental pick, but was not successful. Could not even feel it in there (felt like there was some sort of rubber seal in there). I also tried a magnet, but could not get it down there.

Any suggestions besides removing the whole clutch from the truck
