i have an 04 f150 lariet 5.4 and if i have the a/c on and recirc engaged and turn off the truck and restart it, i have to push the recirc button every time. is this normal. my friend has an 08 and his stays engaged unless he turns off the a/c.

thanks for the replies, i guess that must just be the way it is. at least for 04-05.

 

And my 06 XLT.

 

x2 ^ and my 07 fx2 sport too. the recirculate on mine will turn itself off after about 20 min of being on and you have to push the button again i guess to bring fresh air into the cab.
