Something is shady about my engine......

Ok, let me start off by saying, I'm sorry if there is a post about this already, but i could not find aomething about this in the search!

Now, i have a literally brand new compressor, only one year old, and about 2 monthes ago, when i put the gas pedal more than half way to the floor, my Air Conditioner goes to defrost. NO matter what. NO matter what setting the AC is on, It goes to defrost.

Any ideas?

Search for vaccum leaks on here, then on your truck.

There have been several cases on here where, a vacuum line, that is behind the Battery, goes inot the firewall. The Vacuum line decays and begins to leak. If that is the case, just cut out the bad piece and replace it with new line. The vacuum from that line controls the interior hVAC controls.
