As I was driving this evening I noticed the climate control lighting started to flicker on and off, and if the ac or heater running it will turn on and off as well. I checked the fuses and everything seems to be okay. Somebody please help.

 

I fixed the problem.

The solution (at least for me): I removed the climate control box/housing. As I removed it, I heard something rattling inside, so I took box/housing apart and shook whatever was inside out. I then went ahead and blew the whole thing out with compressed air. The end result was not only a working heading and cooling unit, but a crap load of money saved.

What a great way to end a Saturday evening!

 

My Auto Climate Control kind of flickers too but so quick, I am talking like the refresh on a pc monitor, it works well, just flickers every once in a while, is this normal?

 

Adjust the variable dash lighting control, It is more sensitive than the dash lights.

During the day you might also have automatic headlights going on and off that will also contribute to the condition if the dash light potentiometer is the issue
