Red face 2000 Expy Rear Air Leak, W/Picture

Do you see that metal pipe that runs into the black box on the right? Well, it is making a hissing sound and leaking gas which I do not think is right. So does anyone know how to fix this?

The pipe isn't cracked in the body but it appears to be linking where it connects to that black box to the right near the cuppling.

Anyone have any ideas? I was thinking about just sealing it with JB Weld.

***It has to be leaking because isn't all that blue dust stuff freon?

The black box is just a cover for the evaporator which is what the tube is part of. If there's a coupler there it may just be an o-ring. If no coupler then the tube is part of the evaporator and you would have to replace the entire evaporator. If you do that you should replace the two o-rings where the pipes attach to the expansion valve (square silver block).
The blue stuff is probably from leak detection dye.

Don't know if JB Weld would work or not. My guess is not likely.

Used some marine grade JB Weld type cement to fix the leak and so far it has been working.
