2004 F150: A/C Controls blinking every second
2004 F150: A/C Controls blinking every second
Any ideas? ALL the lights on the AC controller are blinking about once every second. No air blows. Doesn't respond to any button I press. Just keeps blinking.
Thanks!
Thanks!
If your battery and charging system are in order, then the HVAC head (EATC) unit has gone south.
On older Fords, the EATC units were very sensitive to the battery supply voltage and would get flaky when the voltage dropped too much. Don't know if the newer units are as sensitive anymore, but it's something to check or rule out before going $500 in the hole on a new EATC.

Thanks for responding. My AC is working fine now. Here is what happen...
I turned on the truck and noticed the AC was on.. I immediately shut it off for some reason. Then the blinking started.. I shut the truck off and the display now showed very wierd characters. Nothing legible. Almost chinese looking.. I shut the truck off agaion and turned it back on and everything was back to normal.
AC has been going fine for about 4 days now.
