2005 - AC not working after Battery jumped

2005 Lariat.

I had to jumpstart my car because the battery was empty. I noticed that the A/c controlls flashed for a bit after I started the car. But then went dead. The controls and display don't work.

fuse #13 (Climate control module power)seems to be ok.

Any idea ?

Thanks.

I would check all fuses, the ones in the kick panel and under the hood. It may have killed a relay too, however, you did properly jump the truck right? Didnt do it backwards at all?

Jumped it correct. voltage shows 11.94 (engine not running). Could it be that it is too low and that it just needs a new battery ?

I had to jumpstart it again and the A/C control panel is flashing now constantly.

Is it flickering or is it a methodical on and off flashing?

methodical on/off.

I started without a hitch this morning - A/C still not working (of course). turned it off and left the doors open, meaning the lights were on for anout ca. 30 minutes, because I was checking some other fuses. After that unable to start. Voltage down to 11.2.

After 40.000 miles (3 years) in Florida - I tend to think I need a new battery but I want to be sure.

3 years out of a stock battery is pretty good especially here in florida with hot humid days and cold nights. www.optimabatteries.com
