bypass pulley for a/c

I have a 98 f-150, with the 4.6 engine, I need a clutch, sounds like it going up, and I saw a part called bypass pulley, is that to replace the compressor? thanks, I posted on engines first didn't see this part.

The IDLER Arm must be replaced with a non ac idler, and a non ac belt.
I THINK thats it,,, its been a year since I added AC to a 97 or newer F150.

they do sell a AC bypass pulley. Its a pulley setup the goes in place of the ac compressor so you don't have to buy other belts n such

If you have a pre 97 F-series body style with V8 with adirect mount compressor Compressor mounts on top of engine.

Its a different Tensioner arm for AC or Non-AC on the 4.6, 5.4, 5.8 etc motors.

I found the pulley that replaces the compressor. I have ordered it. How do you loosen the tension on the belt? the tensioner has three bolts, or is it some other way. thanks.
