need help

when I turn my heater off its keeps running, The fans keeps right on running only way to cut it off is disconnect the battery.Could the switch be bad, thanks for any suggestions.

Most likely the switch since it takes the most abuse over the years. The best way to determine is get a schematic.

Several things:

1) Use a thread title that describes the problem. Titles such as the one you used often get ignored. You have to raise interest in the reader, hoping they will read your post and answer it.

2) Provide needed information IN YOUR POST that is necessary to identify the vehicle and the actual system you have (ie., manual or auto climate control). Don't force any reader to guess or to make assumptions.

3) Pull the blower motor fuse F116 to kill the blower motor. The Blower Motor Relay is probably stuck in the closed position (shorted or fused).

There is no switch in the system that will cause this system.
