wats up guys i need some help. i got a 97 150 with a 4.2, automatic single cab. it actually used to be a power truck. well i put an el cheapo radio in about a year ago and decided to replace with a better one. i changed the radio and noticed that the heat didnt work( dont know if that is just a coincidence or not) so i checked all the fuses and they are fine. i located the blower motor under the glove box and pulled the orange and brown wire off and tested them with a ohmeter and ther was no voltage at all with the truck on and any of the switches and all their settings. i tested the blower speed switch and the continuity was all messed up so i bought a new one. well i just replaced that and still nothing. i figured out that this 97 truck takes a 98 speed control switch if that matters. the selector for the ac or heat(and floor panel defrost etc.) is electric and vacuum and i have vacuum and can hear it switching when i turn the ****. i dont know anything about these model trucks so pleasehelp me the haynes manual just got me lost. o yeah and i can get heat through the vents if i do about 80.
