engine loses coolant when I turn it off

Well I get to work the other day and turn my my truck off and woososh I see a nice stream of coolant come outta my radiator. Figure it must be my thermostat.took it out tested it works just fine. checked the water pump didnt see any problems. about 2 months ago had a simaliar problem but the leak wasnt that bad thought I fixed it. A week after that my a/c compressor blew the seal. I was told as long as the clutch was good didnt have to worry bout it. I 'm guessing I am building up pressure somewhere but dont know where? If someone could please help me my boss would appreciate it if I showed up to work tommorrow.
