Question Wierd A/C problem

Ok i have a 98' F150 and my a/c clutch is engaging, (my engine bogs slightly when i turn it on), but no cold air comes out. I've had my buddy put 2.2lbs of freon in the system (twice), and i have found a leak, ( we also used the UV Dye), and i checked my pressure lvl and i still have normal pressure (apporx. 45 psi) in the system but no freon. Can anyone shed some light?https://www.f150online.com/forums/im...ies/banana.gif

Static charge with the compressor disengaged and the underhood temp between 70F and 100F should read between 80 and 120 psi. If you have only 45 psi, it may or may not have enough of a charge (the switch is supposed to engage at 45-47 psi) to engage the clutch.

Check to accumlator to see if it's getting cold. If it is but you aren't getting cold air, you're troubleshooting the wrong end of the system and you need to look at the blend door operation, not the sealed refrigerant section.
