Blend Door Motor
Blend Door Motor
Is there a way to check the motor before I buy a new one?
I just tryed to replace my blend door, but it was good.
So it must be the motor or the wiring. I know the cold/heat control is turning.
I have power at the motor on 1 wire but my test light didn't light up on the other 4. I have my meter at home so if someone knows what the volts should be and what wire it would help.
BTW: make sure your blend door is bad BEFORE you take the dash out.

Found a dealer with a motor in stock and they let test and see if moved with my controls. It didn't, so I got a new control. Installed it and it still does not work. I checked all the wires with my meter and they are fine. I have power, ground and I can change the ohms on the other 3 going to the switch on the dash so it works.
The only thing left to do is check the motor again with the new switch.
Any one have any different ideas?
