97, Orifice tube location and hose tips

I just replaced the AC compressor on my 97, it failed about 3hrs from home. Actually the compressor failed and soon after the clutch failed so replaced it while away from home. I luckily made it to house we were visiting for holiday weekend and I found a compressor locally just bolted it up . Now that I am home I need to finishing the job. (flush system and replace accumulator and orifice tube). Any tips on replacement and flushing procedure? It looks like the accumulator connection the EVAP is goofy spring clips, any tips on those as well? I am not even sure where orifice tube is located.

I actually own the Ford service Cds and they say "located between the condenser and evap". I knew that, was looking for specific.

See section 412-03

The specific location of the o-tube is given in the R & R procedure.

The spring locks are described in the Description section. You will need a set of the release tools, about $10 at any auto parts store.

Should be in the pressure line(smaller line) where it connects to the evaporater near the acumlater. Should be on the fire wall side of the connection. They also make a tool to remove the orifice tube. If your compresser failed chance is good that metal collected around the tube, use compresed air to blow some of this out to ease the tube removal........
