Reduced Air flow.

It appears that the volume of air through my 04 F150 has diminished some.
I work and live in an area w/ dusty, weedy, weed seeds and chaff. I'm thinking that I have an acculmulation of debri, forward of my heater core. Anyone have similar experince? What was the solution? Please don't tell me I need to pull dash to clean!...... Why didn't Ford continue w/ cabin filters?
TIA
sandhiller.

I'd suspect your evaporator coil may be clogged with the crud you described, especially if it does it all the time and is not affected by the inlet air selection.

Usually, you can get to the face if it by pulling the blower motor out, but I've never been inside the plenum of an 04.
