manual hvac to auto hvac

how hard would it be to go from a manual control system in a 03 to the auto?

I think the PCM would be the big factor in the switch. The GEM could be a factor. Don't forget the in cab temp sensor too!

If you are going to try, The EATC Control box is pricy from Ford. My 2002 King Ranch was misdiagnosed by Ford Dealer yet again, and wanted to charge me $700 to replace the EATC control Unit. I'm done with that Ford dealer for good. I did buy a used EATC unit off ebay for $42.00 as a backup when I work on the truck this weekend. I doubt it is the unit, but now I will have a spare. If you were wanting to try, buying a used one would be the cheapest attempt. Hope this helps.

really, i can get a new one for like $280
ive heard from other people that if you pull the manual controls theres a harness connection behind it
i just bought a 02 supercab xlt & im pretty much changing anything & since i have the eatc on my screw i wanted to have it on my supercab also

also, do yall think its worth it?
