Im changing my heater core tomorow and i couldnt find any of that foam tape that your suppose to wrap it in i did however find some 3/4 inch foam weather stripping that they recommended at the parts store what do you all think about using this?

 

That's a good question, wish I could help you. I'm about to replace my heater core too and knew nothing of wrapping it. I'll call the dealer Monday and see what they say.

 

Thats what i wrapped mine in. The ford dealership here said to use double sided camper tape. But after removing the factory one weather stripping foam will do the job.
