Rear window defrost on SuperCrew?

Hi. I have an '01 SuperCrew that I picked up recently. In the last couple of weeks it's gotten chilly enough around here to make me need to run the defroster in the morning to help clear the windows up. I notice that there is no rear-window defroster, though. Huh? Does someone make some kind of aftermarket defroster? What do you guys do to defrost your rear window? Thanks.

Mine has one......but it's a solid back window, not one of them slider things.

I wanted the solid window for two reasons;

1) More secure, harder to break in.
2) Rear window defrost.

Is yours a slider?

You can find aftermarket defrost grids all over, including on JCW. I installed one on this '75 Bronco, but I've never seen a rear sliding window with defrost.

Is mine a slider? You mean does it move at all like able to be rolled down or like on the old trucks you can slide a portion of the glass sideways? The answer to both is no. It's a solid piece of glass. I searched these forums and it seems like most people have either a "slider" (whatever that means) or they have a rear-window defroster. I seem to have neither. Just a solid piece of glass and it's tinted, too. So just a small amount of frost on the rear window REALLY decreases the visibility through it by a lot. Thanks for advice and input.

Defrost

I don't think the earlier models had a defrost. I have an 02 Screw, no defrost! But they are right, there are some aftermarket grids that you can install yourself, haven't seen any in awhile but I know they are out there.
