no luck with pulley
sorry i started a new thread but i thought this needed one.
went to work on the a/c compressor pulley today and couldnt get it off worth anything. borrowed a pulley puller but it wouldnt fit up in there. tried pulling on it by hand. even got a screwdriver in there. still couldnt get it off. it looks like a ring of metal that is part of the center section (not part of the pulley) is what is holding the pulley in place. can anyone give me some good instructions on how to remove this pulley? dont know why but the sound has just started getting to me.

The pulley is press fitted on there. you can cause damage by using a screwdriver, or the likes. you need a pulley remover. Bottom line, if you cant get it up there, remove something else first.
