Blower motor

Wife turned ac blower to max, told her not to, smelled a quick burn as it went out. Any chance this is a relay or something simple rather than the blower motor?

Does the fan work at other speeds? Checked fuse? Why was she told not to?

Could be a burnt up motor or the resistor could of burnt out.

I would suspect the motor. Resistors don't usually creat enough of a smell to make you notice. That is why I was asking if the fan still worked. I am still curious as to why she was told not to use max setting.....

No, it does not. Truck has 134,000m on it, so I just like to treat it easy. The fuses are good. Could a relay be the problem?
