Need help - Heater Hoses - Supply? Return?

OK, I just rplaced the heater core...WHEW!

The PO cut the hoses and had it by-passed.

I got new hoses, the engine ends are obvious by their shape, but which one is which on the heater core???

It would seem to make a difference, because I remember one side of the top tank on the heater core was larger (outlet?)

Help please.

Uh, sorry... It's a 98 F-150 w/4.6

Thanks... I already snapped them in place the way it looked best. As I said, the engine ends are obvious by there shape and when I actually installed them, the heater core ends kind of fell in place. I figured the factory setup wouldn't have been crossed, so I just snapped them on.
